FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is a murder sudoku?
A logic puzzle with a crime story. As in sudoku, every row and every column holds exactly one person. The clues tell you where everyone stood, and the finished arrangement reveals the killer: the one suspect left alone with the victim.
Is Sleuthy free?
Yes. The tutorial and 50 cases are free, with no ads. Two themed packs of 40 cases each are one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions.
Is Sleuthy related to the Murdoku books?
No. Sleuthy is an independent game by LaneThree. If you enjoy murder sudoku puzzle books, you will feel right at home.
How hard are the cases?
They start with a 4×4 tutorial and grow to 12×12 houses with up to twelve suspects. Every case can be solved by deduction alone.
Which languages does Sleuthy speak?
English · Deutsch · Français · Español · Italiano · Português · Nederlands. The clues, the case titles and the whole app.
Do I need the internet?
No. Sleuthy plays fully offline. Only buying or restoring a pack needs a connection.
Is it suitable for children?
Sleuthy is made for players aged 13 and up. Nothing violent is shown: the crime is only the theme of the puzzle.
The killer is still in the house.
